Heritage Awards
This heritage property in Granville was an Award Winner in the 2007 Heritage Awards for its extensive restoration work.
The Parramatta City Council Heritage Awards are generally held every two years. Awards acknowledge work undertaken on heritage buildings and places, as well as efforts made towards the interpretation and promotion of cultural heritage within the Parramatta Local Government Area.
Residents, owners and interested parties are invited to nominate people or places that have made an outstanding contribution to the conservation, education or promotion of heritage within the Parramatta Local Government Area.
The Awards are assessed by a panel of judges who examine how the project has demonstrated a contribution to an understanding of Parramatta’s heritage through conservation and physical works, education and promotion and research.
