Before preparing a Development Application
Before preparing a DA, you should contact Council's Development Advisory Team or Customer Contact Centre. By consulting with us, you will be able to:
- Find out whether the proposed development is permissible/allowed
- Find out whether a DA is required
- Check how the City's planning instruments (plans, codes and policies) affect the proposed development
- Obtain copies of the information necessary to submit a DA, including the DA form and the relevant planning instruments
- Obtain advice on the required DA fees.
