Future Growth
The NSW Government estimates that the Parramatta CBD will host up to 100,000 jobs by 2051. The city continues to successfully attract an increasing number of finance, business and other services firms to the centre.
Based on employment growth trends over the last two or three decades, employment modelling by Parramatta City Council’s Economic Outcomes Team, employment in the CBD will increase by an extra 30,000 people by the year 2025. The chief industry areas which will absorb this future growth will further cement Parramatta’s prime commercial position.
