PCC Annual Grants Program 2009 Successful Applicants
In 2009, Council received 60 applications, 29 of which were successful. The total number amount of funding sought across all categories was $794,691 from a total funding pool of $400,000
On Wednesday the 22July 2009, a presentation ceremony was held at The Riverside Theatres to acknowledge all successful applicants. The Lord Mayor Councillor Tony Issa OAM presented grant recipients with their cheques. Welcome to Country was by Uncle Greg Sims, a Descendant of Darug people. After the ceremony the guests enjoyed light refreshments and overall the night was a great success.
