Grants Programs

Parramatta City Council currently administers two funding programs focused on community capacity building & community development. They are:

• Parramatta City Council Annual Grants Program
• Community Development Support Expenditure Grant Scheme

Parramatta City Council (PCC) Annual Grants Program

Parramatta City Councils Community Grants Program runs annually and has provided support to Parramattas local organisations and communities since 1992. In 2006 the program was reviewed to create a stronger alignment with PCCs direction, as detailed in the Parramatta Twenty25 strategy. Many local organisations were consulted as part of the review process and provided valuable input to the revised program. The new program will distribute $400,000 per annum to local organisations and is divided into the 7 categories.

When:

• The 2010 round will be opening Monday 21 September and closing 4pm Friday 18 December 2009

• The Small Grants Fund is available on a quarterly basis. The second round for 2009-10 will open 4pm Friday 11 December 2009

Community Development Support Expenditure (CDSE) Grant Scheme

The CDSE Scheme is a community development funding program sponsored by local clubs and administered by Parramatta Council. This scheme enables registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.5% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects.

• The round will be opening March 2010

• Information on the successful applicants for 2009.
