Waiting List Registration

Council operates a centralised waiting list system across the five long day care centres.

Access to child care places is determined by your place on the list and in line with the Commonwealth Government Priority of Access Guidelines.

Child Care places become available from time to time but Waiting List numbers are high so parents need to understand that gaining a child care place will take a long time.

How to Update Your Waiting List Details or Reconfirm Your Registration

So that we can contact you when a child care place is available you need to:

  • update your contact details whenever they change
  • reconfirm your registration on the Waiting List every three months 

If you do not do this your registration will be deleted from the Waiting List.

Parents / caregivers can register their child/ren on the waiting list by submitting the Child Care Waiting List form below.
