Parramatta Artists Studios is progressing to the fore of contemporary artistic production. Located in the centre of Parramatta’s CBD, in the heart of Western Sydney, the Studios offer affordable non-residential/residential studio and exhibition space to emerging and established contemporary artists, craft practitioners and creative industry professionals.
Located at 45 Hunter Street, Parramatta, next to Church Street Mall and historic St. John’s Church, the Parramatta Artists Studios contains 14 non-residential and 1 residential studios. The focus of the Parramatta Artists Studios is on contemporary artistic practice including but is not limited to painting, sculpture, design, digital media, film, music and wearable art.
Parramatta Artists Studios contributes to the broader community through an annual program of events, workshops, arts activities and exhibitions through the gallery. Activities will revolve around the making, learning and sharing of contemporary visual arts in all its forms.
Parramatta Artists Studios is an Initiative of Parramatta City Council supported by the NSW Government through Arts NSW.
