Every current library member should have a PIN/Password. (Please contact the library if you do not have a PIN). You can alter your PIN/Password any time (and we recommend you do) to any combination of characters and numbers up to five digits long. You can view your items and membership details using your card number and PIN/Password either online or in the library. You never need to have overdue items again.
Searching the library catalogue (NetOPAC) is simple.
The item records are displayed:
Call No. (where it is shelved)
Item Type (book, DVD etc)
Status (Available, On Loan, Reserved)
Item Location (which Branch)
To start a new search just select a search type (Author, Title, Subject). Use the Advanced Search to combine search terms, eg Author and Title. You can also search for an item using the Optional Search Filters at the bottom of each section. These limit the search by Library location, Format like DVD, Large Print, or Collection—adult fiction, easy picture books, etc. The Sort By button sorts the list of items found by author, title, location etc.
Hint: You can use upper or lower case letters to type in your keyword, searches are not case sensitive.

From Current Loans, renewing an item is as simple as clicking. On the right side of the item you want to renew you will see a Renew button. Just point and click. The new return date will appear. Items may only be renewed once and after the new due date must be brought back to the library.
Note: If an item has been reserved, it will not be renewed and must be bought back to the library as soon as possible.
Use the Library Catalogue (NetOPAC):
