Parramatta has a strong and proud sporting tradition and Council offers a wide range sporting and recreation facilities for its residents and visitors. A large number of sporting and recreational clubs regularly use facilities at our 22 sports reserves on a seasonal or casual basis. The community also have access to leisure opportunities at our skate park, Parramatta and Granville Swimming Centres, Woodville Golf course, and various tennis court facilities.
The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) are the responsible authority for the construction of the North West T-Way project including the cycleway component. They did not complete the missing section of the cycleway along Old Windsor Road between the Hammers Road/Ferndale Close intersection and the Hart Drive (Cumberland Highway) intersection, find out more about updates to the North West T-Way Cycleway.
