Exempt and Complying Development
Exempt Development
This is minor work which does not require consent and therefore does not require submission of a Development Application (DA). Exempt Developments meet the specific criteria set out in the Parramatta Development Control Plan (DCP).
Complying Development
This is small scale, low impact development that does not qualify as Exempt Development and is capable of faster approval process. A Complying Development Certificate can be obtained from Council. To qualify the proposed development will have to meet the specific criteria set out in the Parramatta DCP.
