Draft Parramatta Development Control Plan 2008
The Draft Development Control Plan (DCP) contains controls to support the standards in the Local Environmental Plan (draft LEP 2008). This document consolidates all of Council’s existing DCPs into a single document and also includes new sections relating to the precincts considered through the RDS review. The controls will include requirements for such issues as setbacks, landscaped area, deep soil planting, parking, building design and safety.
Council has adopted a preliminary version of the draft Parramatta DCP 2008 for the purpose of public exhibition and is currently working to further refine the DCP. As the draft DCP 2008 supports the provisions of the draft LEP 2008, both documents will be exhibited together. As such, the draft Parramatta DCP 2008 will not be exhibited until the NSW Department of Planning has authorised the exhibition of the draft Parramatta LEP 2008.
