

In accordance with Council’s Notification Development Control Plan 2004 all proposed developments that are either advertised or designated need to be displayed for public viewing at Council Central Library and the Branch Library closest to the development site. These types of development proposals are also available for viewing at Council’s Offices between 8:30am and 4:30pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
The NSW Minister for Planning approves major infrastructure and other projects that are either of state significance or high value, under Part 3A of EP&A Act 1979. The Act also requires the NSW Department of Planning (DoP) to make the specifications of the proposed development available for at least 30 days. Parramatta City Council invites public comment on the following development proposals before making a decision. The Development Application (DA) and accompanying documents for each proposal may be inspected at the Council’s offices at 30 Darcy Street in Parramatta between 8:30am and 4:30pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. The documents may also be viewed at Parramatta City Library and the Branch Library located nearest to the development during opening hours.
Submissions must be in writing and received by Council prior to 4:30pm on the closing day of the exhibition period. An objection is an opportunity for public involvement in the decision making process and does not constitute a complaint.
