

A “site map” shows the relative trees for the application and their location within the property. The trees are numbered as per the application. If you don’t have an electronic version of the site plan, there are two simple ways to create the file.
If you have a scanner, the easiest way to create the electronic plan is to simply draw the plan on a piece of paper and scan to either JPG, BMP, TIFF or GIF format.
Most people who own a computer have access to Microsoft Paint. The map needs to simply represent the layout of the property and the trees to be inspected. Label the trees you are wanting removed/pruned with the numbers, as per the Tree numbers on your application. Also provide the name of the tree (if known) and the approximate size of the tree in height.
