Enrolment Procedures

When a child care place becomes available and you are next on the Waiting List, the Centre Co-ordinator will contact you and offer you the place. If you still want a child care place at the centre, the Co-ordinator will arrange a time for you and your child to come into the centre for an interview.

At the interview, the Co-ordinator will provide you with information on how the centre operates, what the centre provides for your child and what you need to provide for your child in care.

The Co-ordinator will provide you with a copy of the Parent Information Handbook.

If you wish to accept the child care place you will need to complete the enrolment form with the Coordinator and pay a security bond (equivalent to one week’s full fee) plus one week’s full fee payment in advance.

You will need to bring with you to this interview, the following:

  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Parent/s Birth Certificate/s
  • Child Immunisation Record
  • Proof of Residential Address
  • Fees – Security Bond Fee & 1 Week’s Full Fee Payment in Advance

After the Centre’s enrolment procedures are completed, if you wish to claim a child care benefit from Centrelink, the Co-ordinator will provide you with the Centre’s Service Provider number for you to use on the Centrelink application and claim form.
