Sustainable Transport Survey
It has become apparent through recent consultations with the community that sustainable transportation solutions are one of the major current issues. Council is launching a survey to explore this further.
It has become apparent through recent consultations with the community that sustainable transportation solutions are one of the major current issues. Council is launching a survey to explore this further.
The survey will explore in detail:
- Residents methods of transportation
- Residents satisfaction with local area transportation facilities
- Sustainable transportation options
- Parramatta City Council's new bicycle parking facilities.
This consultation will be concluded 5 May 2010.
Research Objectives
- Understand residents forms of transport
- Understand the reasons for why they use this transport
- Understand the levels of satisfaction with local transportation options and transportation infrastructure
- Understand resident use of new bicycle parking facilities in Horwood or Erby Car Parks
- Seek resident suggestions for improvement of the transportation system in the Parramatta LGA
