Stronger Communities Fund - Applications to the fund have now closed
The NSW Government has established the Stronger Communities Fund to provide councils with funding to kick start the delivery of projects that improve community infrastructure and services.
The City of Parramatta’s Community Capacity Building team has partnered with leep’s communityNet to make it easier and more effective for local community services to receive information about funding opportunities. Subscribe to the funding newsletter here.
There are currently no workshops. Next scheduled workshops will be listed here in 2016.
Planning Your Projects – Work Plans and Timelines
Developing a work plan or timeline is an excellent way to achieve a successful project as it records the major milestones for the project and who is responsible for completing them. Providing such information is a good way to show that your project is well planned and ready to go. To assist you in this process, we have developed a basic sample Project Plan and Work Plan for you to use in the planning and implementation process.
Progress Reports and Acquittals
All organisations receiving an annual PCC Community Grant are required to complete their projects within twelve months of funding and quarterly grant recipients are required to complete their projects within six months of funding.
Two Progress Reports after four and nine months respectively are required during the funding period and a Final Acquittal Report is required upon project completion for all projects funded through the annual program. Organisations funded through the quarterly grants are required to submit a Final Acquittal Report only.
