This is my animal - what do I do now?

Go to Blacktown City Council Animal Holding Facility and identify your animal in person. Give the staff at the pound the impound number and ask for the kennel number, this way you can go directly to your animal. When you are sure that this is your pet, alert the staff at reception that you wish to claim your animal and fill out a release form. You will be required to pay the release fee which is the cost of to maintain your pet for the duration of its' stay at the Holding Facility. This fee is dependent on the time your pet has spent at the facility and whether or not it's a small price to pay to have your pet returned safe and sound!

Blacktown City Council's Animal Holding Facility is located at 415 Flushcombe, Road Prospect (Corner of Flushcombe Road and Great Western Highway).

Entrance to the facility is from Flushcombe Road.

Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Sunday 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Closed Public Holidays.
