Council works closely with our waste and recycling contractor Cleanaway Municipal Services to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. In Parramatta, residents are provided with a three (3) bin collection system together with four (4) annual area kerb side bulk clean ups.

For more information on your domestic waste service, contact Council's waste hotline on 9806 5544. The hotline can also be used to lodge a stolen bin, missed service or additional bin request.

Know Your Waste and Win!

w

Council conducts random bin inspections and provide feedback to residents about their recycling effort. Green tags are given to recycling or garden organic bins that contain 100% correct items and red tags are given to bins that contain incorrect items. If you have received a green tag on your bin, you can enter into a competition to WIN a $ 50 gift voucher. One winner is drawn each month, so keep on recycling and good luck!
