Parramatta is a growing CBD that is open to opportunity and investment. There is a high demand for commercial space and an increase in growth which has opened the way for inspiring developments that will change the landscape of our city.

In this section you will find information on Civic Place redevelopment, Rydalmere Knowledge Precinct and Ideas on Edge, an International Design competition. Each project will change the landscape of Parramatta to create an attractive, dynamic and creative place to live and work.

Property Development Group builds for the future.

A new group, which will play an influential part in shaping our vibrant and dynamic City’s future, has been established at Parramatta City Council.

Known as the Property Development Group, the team’s key objectives are to unlock value from surplus sites, optimise potential from Council-owned development sites and establish and grow an income earning property and investment portfolio which will provide a significant contribution to Council’s long-term financial plan.

Central to the Property Development Group’s activities will be management of Civic Place, as well as the facilitation of other property development projects throughout the City’s CBD to provide economic development and investment growth for Parramatta.
