Registering your Business
If your business performs any of the following procedures: acupuncture, tattoos, body piercing, hair removal (including waxing, electrolysis etc), semi-permanent makeup, or any beauty treatment that involves the deliberate removal of the skin, you must register your business with Council.
Please note that the procedures carried out in the practice of a registered medical practitioner do not come under this skin penetration regulation.
