State of the City 2011

Parramatta’s premier business function, the 2011 State of the City Address, attracted more than 200 guests at the Sebel Hotel, Parramatta. The event provided a clear snapshot of the City’s achievements and future targets. One of the highlights of the event was a short video of The Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Cr John Chedid walking the streets of Parramatta and talking to the people about what Parramatta means to them. The CEO Dr Robert Lang, provided a more economic outlook providing figures on growth, workforce and an update of the major developments over the past 12 months and Council's ‘vision’ for the City. The address discussed what Council and business can do to encourage further investment in Parramatta.
