Advertising of Proposal to Amend Suburb Boundaries from Winston Hills to Northmead.
Council resolved at the meeting held on 25 February 2008 to support the change of the suburb boundary alignment between Winston Hills and Northmead.
The Geographical Names Board of NSW (GNB) is formally responsible for Suburb Boundaries and Names within NSW. Council has requested that the GNB formally consider the alignment.
The proposed amendment to the boundary will be advertised in The Parramatta Advertiser, and the Northern District Times Wednesday 19 March. Council will be displaying the proposed maps (enclosed) at the Council Administration Office, Parramatta and Constitution Hill library, and on Councils website.
During previous consultation Council only requested feedback if residents supported the proposal. During this consultation feedback is requested either in support or against the proposal. Written submissions either in support or against the proposal will be received by the GNB until Friday 18 April 2008. Any submissions received by Council during this period will be forwarded to the GNB.
