Geographical Names Board approves five administrative Suburb Boundary Changes
Five minor suburb locality boundary changes have been carried out administratively by the Geographical Names Board of NSW (GNB) under the Boards position and extent policy.
Council had requested the GNB to review the boundaries due to anomalies with some addresses based on the existing boundaries.
These anomalies include instances where a property is split down the middle by a boundary (placing half in one suburb and half in the other), where only one property in an entire street is in a different suburb to all of the rest, and several changes that were agreed to by the Geographical Names Board during consultation however failed to appear in the gazetted maps.
Affected residents will be notified in writing of the approved changes.
See the maps below for the areas that have been affected.
