Draft Parramatta LEP Parramatta City Council (Council) is preparing a draft Local Environmental Plan (LEP) that will establish future planning controls for the Parramatta Local Government Area.
In 2010 Lunar New Year celebration will return to Church St South amongst the Asian quarter of Parramatta! New to this year’s event will be a gigantic banquet table where neighbours can meet and enjoy the delicious cuisines and cultural merchandise on offer from many of Church St South's famous restaurants and shops!
Children can enjoy the free Lantern Making Workshop, martial arts and Kung Fu demonstrations as well as free birth year readings from our fortune teller and free face painting.
The night will also feature contemporary and traditional entertainment from across Asia and of course the highly anticipated Chinese dragon dance with crackers.
