Welcome to Parramatta City Council

This week is National Volunteering Week and Parramatta City Council is celebrating the hard work of each of the volunteers who really make a difference in our local community.  The Lord Mayor, Paul Barber is hosting the inaugural volunteers’ celebration on 18 May to thank our volunteers and show our appreciation for the vital work they carry out in our community.

Volunteers are essential for us to operate many of our services.  The Council’s Home Support and Community Services section relies on 170 volunteers alone, working in a range of important roles such as Neighbourhood Aid Volunteers and Meals on Wheels. Find out about where you could volunteer and make a difference.
