Skate Parks

Parramatta Street Skatepark  Parramatta Bowl - Skatepark

Skate facilities provide informal opportunities for youth to socialise and participate in unstructured physical activity. Council currently provides three (3) skate facilities in the following locations:

Parramatta Skate Park

James Ruse Reserve - Harris Street (near Hassall Street), Harris Park
Located within walking distance of Parramatta Train Station / Transport Interchange

  • Street-style (half pipes / funbox / grindrails)
  • 9ft Bowl

Granville Skate Park

Granville Park – Woodville Road (near Louis Street), Merrylands
Located within walking distance of Merrylands Train Station / Veolia Buses Routes (906, 907, 908)

  • Street-style (quarter pipes, banks, grindrail, funbox)

This facility will shortly be transferred to the management of Cumberland Council following recent boundary amendments. During this time of transition please continue to contact the City of Parramatta for general enquiries, maintenance requests or bookings.

Telopea Skate Park

Sturt Park – Sturt Street (near Evans Road), Telopea
Located within walking distance of Telopea Train Station / Sydney Buses Routes (545, 550, 521)

  • Street-style (quarter pipes, banks, grindrail, funbox)

Carlingford Skate Park

John Wearn reserve - Farnell Avenue, Carlingford
Located within walking distance of Bus Routes (630,546,549,553)

  • Shallow snake pit (suitable for beginners)
