Skate Parks
Skate facilities provide informal opportunities for youth to socialise and participate in unstructured physical activity. Council currently provides three (3) skate facilities in the following locations:
Parramatta Skate Park
James Ruse Reserve - Harris Street (near Hassall Street), Harris Park
Located within walking distance of Parramatta Train Station / Transport Interchange
- Street-style (half pipes / funbox / grindrails)
- 9ft Bowl
Granville Skate Park
Granville Park – Woodville Road (near Louis Street), Merrylands
Located within walking distance of Merrylands Train Station / Veolia Buses Routes (906, 907, 908)
- Street-style (quarter pipes, banks, grindrail, funbox)
Telopea Skate Park
Sturt Park – Sturt Street (near Evans Road), Telopea
