Swimming Pools
There are two swimming pools located in the Parramatta City Local Government Area, Parramatta Swimming Centre and Granville Swimming Centre.
Free Access to Parramatta Pools
Seniors, people with a disability and their carers are entitled to free access to Council's swimming centres every Tuesday as part of a 12 month trial to improve physical activity levels and access to Council aquatic centres in the local area. Swimming is a perfect, low-impact exercise with a range of fitness benefits.
The initiative will also offer a one-off free family pass for two adults and two children or one adult and three children, which can be redeemed at either the Parramatta or Granville swimming centres at anytime throughout the year.
Free access is valid only for residents living within the Parramatta local government area. A valid NSW Seniors Card or Disability Pension Card must be presented at the time of entry. Proof of address must also be presented.

Due to a Program Booking the 25m & L-Shaped Pool will be closed to the General Public between 9.30am to 10.30am every Saturday from 13th October 2012 to Saturday 13th April 2013.
