The City of Parramatta is situated 24 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD, at the heart of the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Region. Recognised as Sydney’s second CBD, Parramatta is also the sixth largest CBD in Australia and the economic capital of Western Sydney - Australia’s fastest growing region.

Parramatta City Council has a budget of $170 million and 700 staff who provide services to Parramatta’s 172,000 residents, and programs which help our city centre and culturally diverse neighbourhoods grow and become more attractive places.
