Parramatta Square is a 3 ha mixed use redevelopment precinct located in Parramatta CBD, bounded by Church, Macquarie, Smith and Darcy Streets. Parramatta Square will see Parramatta emerge as a vibrant, connected and liveable city in the heart of Sydney.
Commercial - 28,000 sqm 5 Green Star Office Tower designed by Architectus and developed by Leighton Properties.
The Aspire Tower – proposed 90-storey mixed use tower of 700 apartments, 150 key hotel, ground level retail, a sky deck and experience centre designed by Grimshaw.
Commercial and Community Facilities – 24,000 sqm 5 Green Star office tower, 7,000 sqm 5 Green Star Public Facilities including Civic Building, Community Centre and Library designed by FJMT.
5,000 sqm 5 Star Green Star mixed use retail and commercial building central to the Parramatta Square Public Domain which will be subject to a Design Competition.
Stages Five and Six
140,000 sqm dual Commercial 5 Green Star Office Towers which completed a Design Competition in 2013.
A 5 Green Star Precinct
Parramatta Square has been registered under the Green Star Communities Pilot Rating Tool, which is one of the world’s first independent, transparent, national schemes able to assess and certify the sustainability of community level projects
Parramatta Square will provide best practice benchmarks with third-party verification for sustainability and livability at the precinct-level.
All buildings within Parramatta Square will be designed to 5 Green Star standards.
The designs for Stage One and Stage Two emerged from Design Competitions in 2012 and Stage Three is being developed with a Council approved Design Excellence Review process. Stages 4, 5 and 6 and the Public Domain are subject to Design Competitions.
